Making maps at your PC doesn't mean you miss out on a sense of connection. Include new, free dungeon and city design capabilities to our core software CC3+, and offer it at half-price - just $22.45 for a permanent commercial license. ProFantasy's software has always been good value, but not affordable for everyone. There's never been a better time to map out the worlds of your imagination. Maybe it's the simplicity of it.Until further notice, CC3+ is half price. That took me longer to adjust to, but even that seems like a natural to me now. If purchased within an even bigger bundle with some of the companys other programmes, this piece of software can be obtained at a discount of up to 40. It may be the same with LL and the rest, but for me the ease of use fit's my expectations with S&W.Įven the single saving throw. The product is a brainchild of ProFantasy Software, a company dedicated to map making for gamers that has created more than 25 map-related software products. They seem to fit into S&W with little fuss. Making maps at your PC doesnt mean you miss out on a sense of connection. If your map is the classic Medieval fantasy setting, your world will likely be covered in trees, so mapping out the forests is going to be important. The most important thing that remains, however, is to draw the forests. Weve decided to include new, free dungeon and city design capabilities to our core software CC3+, and offer it at half-price - just 22.45 for a permanent commercial license. With our coastlines, lakes, mountains, and rivers done, we’ve nearly finished the basic geography of our map. I grab and pick and steal from just about all OSR and Original resources. ProFantasys software has always been good value, but not affordable for everyone. (my God but I can run it nearly without the book) Our bundles range from the most popular Top Three, to the comprehensive Whole Shebang: our entire range at a spectular saving. Just much less rules hopping than I remember. Our bundles offer great savings on popular combinations of our products. It plays so close to the AD&D of my youth and college years (S&W Complete especially) that it continually surprises me. I can house rule it and it doesn't break. It's easy for lapsed gamers to pick up and feel like they haven't lost a step.

So, out of all that, why Swords & Wizardry ? Why, when I have been running a AD&D 1e / OSRIC campaign in Rappan Athuk am I using Swords & Wizardry and it's variant, Crypts & Things, for the second campaign? (Actually, now running a S&W Complete campaign, soon to be with multiple groups) I am so deep in the OSR when I come up for breath it's for the OSR's cousin, Tunnels & Trolls BOTH editions of LotFP's Weird Fantasy and some dead tree copies of the Greyhawk Grognards Adventures Dark & Deep I even have Dark Dungeons in print, the Delving Deeper boxed set, Astonishing Swordsmen & Sorcerers of Hyperborea. The Campaign Cartographer range of map making software allows you to. Actually, I have the whole available line in print. Last night I started reading through the Mike Mearls Ask Me Anything over at Reddit. I have LL and the AEC (and somewhere OEC, but I can't find it at the moment).

I have OSRIC in full size, trade paperback and the Player's Guide. Believe me when I say I have them all in dead tree format.
